How to Register to Vote:
First, check to see if you’re registered to vote here: https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/
If you’re not registered to vote or need to update your address, be sure to do so before Election Day. The deadline to register to vote is 25 days before the election!
You have two options for registering:
a) Register by Mail
Complete a voter registration form found here: http://bit.ly/ncvoterform
Print the form.
Sign the form (in ink on the paper). Electronic signatures are NOT acceptable.
Mail the form to the Alamance County Board of Elections: 115 SOUTH MAPLE STREET, GRAHAM, NC 27253
b) Register in-person
Complete a voter registration form, available at the following locations: NC State Board of Elections, public libraries or at the Alamance County Board of Elections office in Graham.
After registering, you will receive a voter card in the mail. If you do not receive one after two weeks, contact the Alamance county Board of Elections.
How to request an absentee ballot:
Request an absentee ballot by filling out a State Absentee Ballot Request form, available online here OR at the Alamance County Board of Elections office in Graham.
A signed and completed State Absentee Ballot Request Form must be received by your county board of elections no later than 5:00 p.m. on the last Tuesday prior to the date of the election for which the ballot is being requested.
A signed and completed request form may be mailed, faxed, e-mailed or delivered in person to the county board of elections office.
